Educational Background

Experience
1999 to Present - I worked part time at Urban Environments Inc. in Hillard,
Ohio. As a member of their company, I worked on numerous commercial
installation projects. Many of the duties that I performed during my internship
with the company have been expanded upon. I have logged numerous hours
on equipment and have dealt with different materials and site conditions.

1999 - I interned at Urban Environments Inc. in Hilliard, Ohio. As an intern I
was on a commercial installation crew that was involved with a $600,000
project along with a few other installs. On site I helped with the planting of
large caliper trees, shrubs, perennials, and sod laying. On the construction
side, I installed drip edge along the building, four inch drain tile for beds, a
volleyball court, hardscapes, demolition, and taking measurements off of
blueprints. I received training on estimating and purchasing. I also logged over
125 hours on a Bobcat, numerous hours on a tractor with rotovator, time on
a riding trencher, and other pieces of smaller equipment.

1997 to 1998 - I held a full time job at North Coast Perennials in Madison,
Ohio. I operated machinery and equipment on a daily basis. I also made sure
that orders that went on trucks were what they were supposed to be. Along
with outgoing orders, I insured that incoming orders contained the proper
materials. In this field I worked with migrant workers, thus allowing me to
work with a diverse group of people.

1996 to 1997 - I was a cadet at the United States Coast Guard Academy. I
was involved with an Officer training program. This program involved being a
full time college student, military drill, professional training classes, standing on
duty sections, being in charge of duty sections, and being part of the fleet
during summer training. Some fields covered in my professional training
classes were leadership, management of people and time, organization, honor,
human relations, etiquette, health and appearance. For part of the time I was
a Platoon Leader and in charge of 36 other cadets.

1985 to 1995 - I held a part time job at Misty Ridge Farms in Madison,
Ohio. I was a farm hand that took care of Quarter Horses and did general
manual labor. It was a job that required numerous skills.
